ABOUT ME

Diya Mehta is an American Artist born in 2004 and raised in Virginia her entire life. She currently attends and resides at Christopher Newport University and is expected to graduate in 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. She uses a variety of media, including graphite, charcoal, digital media, paint and colored pencils, but tends to lean towards digital media for a large portion of her work. She has a passion for using her art to bring awareness to the injustice women and queer people have faced in society. She explores the unique experiences that they face, hoping to make their voices heard in a society that chooses to oppress them.
